Tara Parker, Ed.D., is the owner and independent educational consultant at Premier College Prep Consulting, LLC. She has spent the last 15 years working as a school administrator, in which nine of those years include working with high school students.  She has served as a high school principal, assistant principal, testing coordinator, and coordinator for a high school workforce development program. Throughout these positions, Dr. Parker worked with thousands of high school students in the areas of high school course guidance, graduation requirements, preparing for college, college applications, college essays, interview preparation, and final college selection. Dr. Parker is knowledgeable about high school curriculum and programs that prepare students the best for college. She also has extensive knowledge of athletics and the NCAA eligibility process.

After finding her passion working with high school students and helping them find the best college, Dr. Parker completed the Independent Educational Consultant certification program at the University of California Irvine. She has also completed specialized training, Advising the College-Bound Student-Athlete, to be able to assist potential college-bound athletes.

When she is not working with clients, Dr. Parker enjoys spending time with her family. She is married with 3 teenage children. The Parker family is very active in travel sports and is currently experiencing the college preparation and application process with their own children. Their oldest is a sophomore at East Carolina University, and their middle child will be playing volleyball at the University of Mount Olive in the fall of 2023.
